Sign language is a helpful tool to use while communicating with babies and toddlers. There are several benefits which many parents and caregivers find to be incredibly important. While the benefits are numerous, the use of sign language will not prevent temper tantrums or prove to be a magic cure-all for common infant and toddler challenges. While sign language does often give young children a method of communication that they are unable to articulate yet with the spoken word, it is simply a helpful tool for daily life and a tool to help strengthen the social bonds between child and caregiver.
