The combination of art and nature is important for children to experience because it allows them to move their bodies and explore while remaining creative in their imagination. Combining art and nature is in our nature. Naturally we find materials and create new inspiring things. A great example of this is rock stacking, which my preschoolers love doing!

It is important for children to experience nature because it allows them to better understand world around them. Children are able to enhance their senses of smell, touch, feel, and vision. They can observe that nature is alive and has it's own cycle like leaves turning yellow/orange and falling during fall time. Art allows children to express themselves and learn more about themselves. In turn, art allows us teachers learn more about out students in terms of personality and learning styles.

The combination of art and nature is important for fostering creativity, independence and collaboration. Inside work is more structured and being outside, allows the children to explore, use all their senses and learn from the environment. Doing art outside, allows children to get away from structure, stress and anxiety and become one with the world around them. It helps them see that they are part of nature and the world around us. It allows them to explore, be inquisitive, ask questions and create using their senses and imagination.

Nature is magical and it will bring out the best from a child when he or she is doing art work in the nature. They start tp understand that they are a part of nature too. Being outdoors not only allows the child to have physical activities but also let their imagination and artistic abilities to come out. They use their imagination to create art with the things they find outdoor in the nature like leaves, twigs, rocks, sticks , pine cones. And to create art is an expression of yourself. Combing art and nature allows the child opening explore in a sorts who they are and what they mean to themselves from what they've created and how the feel.

Nature is part of us all. With children, art can be created from almost anything, their imaginations are amazing. Taking children on walks, playing at parks, in the "woods" open their creativity. When it isn't possible, bringing in elements, allow children to create art from nature, art from art. I believe in Art itself as a learning benefit and tangible elements they see daily should be part of it.

We all come from nature, we live in nature, we eat nature, we breathe nature and we crave natures elements. I believe expose them from a young age to the natural elements all around them is beneficial to their development. Any environment that includes elements such as water, rocks, trees, or plants is called nature. Nature is also elements that can be brought inside for further exploration or discovery for scientific purposes.

Art is nature, and so are we. Children thrive outside, they love to explore and create, change items from its "intended " purpose to the how the child's wants/needs it be. In Seattle, the outside is forever changing, even in a day we can have sunshine and hail. Colors and sounds of the day are exciting. My preschoolers love to go on hikes to collect items and bring them back to make and build what they see it as. Nature is the freest form of art,
