The students do seem engaged, however I feel like the classroom has too many bright colors and could become a distraction. I feel like the teacher seated with the children might make them more relaxed, but I understand that she may be using a chair to show authority.

I sit on the floor whenever possible to make the group time more inviting and comfortable. The children do seem a little rigid to me but they are attentive and the teacher has a welcoming expression.

The classroom looks spacious due to the color combinations used; the colors also give the room an airy, well-lit feel. The children are not rigid, but are sitting cross-legged with their hands in their laps and have their eyes fixed on the teacher, while she is conducting a lesson or reading a story to the children. The classroom is well organized.

This picture of classroom environment shows a dream world to me! I compare it to my own experience and the variables are so much different it does not seem reachable. For instance my age group is 7 children ages 2-5, I am also suppose to allow anyone to choose a different activity if circle time does not appeal to them, so I have wandering children! However, the classroom seems inviting, the children are all looking at the teacher, a couple look stiff and posing, but attentive. The teacher looks relaxed and enjoying herself. Expectations of the class is apparent and I think that is the point of this photo and exercise. What I learned that may help me in being more efficient is having a known seating arrangement for those that would attend, it would make circle time entry efficient and have less behavioral issues. Now to motivate the younger children to follow through!

The materials are at the level of the children. The colors are a little too bright, I prefer blues but it still looks great! It looks like the students know what is expected of them so they are able to relax, focus, and have fun with the lesson. I'm not sure how old the students are but they do look old enough to be able to sit in this manner.

The artwork displayed can boost children's self-esteem, the materials & organization of materials are appropriate and great tools for interactive learning. I don't think the children are to rigid. Expectations seem to be set for times dedicated to group learning and the teachers seems to be using props which are a great way to keep children attentive and excited about learning.

I think the set-up is fine to help facilitate learning. If the children demonstrated attentiveness and engagement I'd be flexible with the seating arrangement. It really depends on the tools most helpful for that group of children.

The teacher looks like she's put together a well organized and well run classroom. I personally would not choose the yellow and red colors due to the signals it sends, but would use more greens and blues. For many kids those colors can be too much sensory overload.

the classroom is organized and kid friendly. the teacher has their full attention to that's a big plus. the outfits don't really dig them cause to me it doesn't give them their individuality on how they want to dress and present themselves. the color could be a different color as such a warm blue.
