We currently do evals at the end of the employee's first 90 days of employment and then again at their year mark. Evaluations are measured by observations from admin, and lead teachers. prior to each eval employees are part of monthly meetings to help train and coach them.

We have evaluations. At hiring, we review expectations. At 30 days we review the expectation checklist.
We are a small school. We have monthly staff meetings.
We also have monthly small check in's to address successes the staff have been having, as well as areas we would like to see the school improve in.

My center does yearly evaluations as well. We are graded on a scale of 1 to 5 ( 1 -performing above and beyond for current job level/ 5 - unsatisfactory performance).Which I feel works nicely because it let's us know what our true strengths are and anything we need to work on.It includes interaction with children, interaction with parents, healthcare policies and procedures, employee policies, attitude and skills with co-workers, general work habits, training and education. It also addresses what the individual feels their strengths are, and the areas they wish to improve upon in the next year. I feel like it's a pretty detailed and covers a broad range of duties and gives positive feedback to employees.

We currently do staff evaluations at 90 days after initial employment begins and then again annually on or right before their anniversary date. We have a system that aligns the WAC, our policies, and EA guidelines that help to bring our staffs minimum standard of achievements to acceptable level. We sit down with them one on one to discuss the results.

We do a staff evaluation after 90 days and then yearly after that. It is a time to reflect on how they are doing in there classrooms and having it written down to look at they can reflect on what is discussed and know where they need to improve. They also will do a self evaluation to see if they know their own weeknesses

Our current evaluation does an initial 90 day, then 1 year and it is annually thereafter. It covers different focus areas that pertain to job responsibilities on a scale from Very Good to Needs Improvement. The employee does a self-evaluation and each are discussed at the time of the meeting. It covers several observations over the year.

Our center does evaluations on a comprehensive level with all supervisors giving input, critiquing with examples and complimenting strengths with examples. These evaluations are given to the staff to look over, ask questions, give input on how they feel they are doing, etc... The goal is to do this twice a year. Our staff seem to appreciate this method and the opportunity to reflect on how they see their job performance as well as see how it is observed by supervisors.

I believe we meet the components of an effective evaluation program. Nearing 90 days of employment, we give the teachers a self-evaluation to complete, as well as a copy of their job description with space for reflection. The self-evaluation has a goal-setting section and also asks what additional time and resources on our part would help them meet these goals. The evaluation takes place in a comfortable atmosphere and we do our best to put the employees at ease by stressing it is a collaborative process meant to help them and us. There is give and take, and the the discussion includes ways we can better equip them to do their jobs.

There are regular evaluations performed at the center that I work. These evaluations are mainly so that the early childhood educators within the entire center can continually improve. It is important as someone in leadership to also perform consistent observations of the early childhood educators within your center so that you can easily determine their strengths and weaknesses.

We absolutely incorporate many of these components. Obviously the teachers are well trained through AMS accreditation before taking a lead teaching role. Evaluations involve input from other administrators and the teachers themselves. I allow for flexibility in teaching implementation to a degree based on the individual culture of the classroom and the unique student population. There are various ways the evaluations take place and there are always opportunities for open communication.

As of right now we do not have a formal evaluation in place for teachers. We are a really small center so I work in the classroom most of the day beside the employees and can help guide them and train as they are working. I like to take a step back from the lead role sometimes and just observe the other teacher with me and their interactions with the children and the curriculum to help me better understand how I can help them improve.

We recently implemented a system that involves a meeting with the director about general goals, a sharing of a lesson plan, then the observation, then a meeting afterwards discussion how that observation went according to the teacher's goals. I appreciated that the observation feedback was based on my goals as a teacher, not the director's goals for me.

As a school we are using 5D+ Rubric for Instructional Growth and Teacher Evaluation. It connects with the goals stated above even this year as we only focus on 2 of the 5 areas. This year we are assessing student engagement and lesson purpose. We are assessing learning targets, communication of learning targets, lessons connected to previous and future lessons, quality of questioning, ownership of learning, capitalization of student strengths, opportunity for students to make meaning, and allowing for student talk. Next year we will add in curriculum and pedagogy, assessment for student learning, and classroom environment and culture.

Our center has an open door policy. I welcome open lines of communication to all my staff. I also encourage open communication amongst themselves. I prefer to have them discuss problems and concerns with each other first to come up with a resolution, I offer input and advice, but ultimately I want them to come to a conclusion together. We have yearly evaluations, but if they're needed more often for a certain staff member or for a classroom that has had continuous issues, then I'll do weekly or monthly evals as well.

Our school does informal staff observations at least twice a month and then check ins with the staff thereafter - (to give feedback and to receive their feedback too). We create a formal annual evaluation based on these observations and feedback and ask the staff members to give a formal followup on management support and consistency at this time. For new staff members we meet and create our job expectations within the first week of employment and then check in bi-monthly to see how they are doing and how we can support them better. We do whole staff meetings quarterly to address issues that we observe across all classrooms and checkins daily to address issues within each individual class.

We do an initial upon hire training, a 90 day training, then every 6 months. we will do more if the staff member appears to need more training or is struggling or requests more training.

We try to complete 3 evaluation each year. two conducted by the program director and the third is done by an outside trainer or coach.
We use a variety of methods such as checklists, documentations and narrative descriptions of what goes on in class and teachers interactions.

Yes,we do use a variety of tools. Primarily everyday observation and timely feedback is something that we use which has seemed to work best.

We have evaluation at our preschool. It is monthly evaluation of the staff. After the evaluation, the Director typically sit down with the Teacher and discuss her observation, provide feedback and strategies on how to improve specific areas

We just developed an evaluation form that based on teachers roles and duties as well as Montessori methods. We also participate in Early Achievers that also has a great evaluation tools either for teachers or environment that we were using past three years.
