An effective leader recognizes and utilizes their employees strengths and gifts. They listen and treat people with respect while maintaining a level of competency and setting the expectations for the work environment.

A person who can effective communicate with staff and 'customers' in his/her field. Someone who is patient and open-minded and can instill confidence in others around them
