Three ways an educator can use pinterest are by searching and pinning ideas from some of the following..

classroom Decor: by getting ideas for themes and learning centers and bulletin boards

Arts/Craft Ideas: by searching themed or any kind of age appropriate craft

Classroom Originization tips and ideas: by pinning ideas that help the classroom run more smoothly.

There are many ways that we can use Pinterest as educators. The first is to make lesson plans, the second is for classroom management techniques, and the last are our printouts for the classroom.

1 - Class Management, tips and tricks to make your classroom smoother.
2 - Bulletin Boards - A clever bulletin board is a great way to display students work - get them excited about learning.
3 - Connect with other childcare providers. You can be informed on what others are doing - this would also give you a chance to be up to date on what others are doing.

1. Getting ideas and age appropriate activities for on going topics in the classroom.
2. Getting tips for classroom organization, classroom management and classroom decor according to the topics being taught in the classroom.
3. Something that I really liked is the Virtual Field Trip option, especially in a family child care setting where there are children of all age groups where going on an actual field trip is not always an option.
