No, it’s not an investigation, it’s an opportunity to make a plan.
When planning an evaluation cycle it is critical to have an inquiry meeting with the teacher who is being evaluated.
The purpose of this meeting is to determine the teacher’s goals or focus for their evaluation and to allow them time to discuss their strengths and weaknesses as an educator. Not all teachers are experts in all areas but with time, coaching, experience, and valuable feedback they can become strong in all areas. |
