"Parents get very upset when there is an injury to their child at school. How can we make that better?"
-Esprit It is understandable that parents are concerned about their children's injuries, even minor ones. They are trusting that their child is in a safe place for care and if even a skinned knee occurs it can be alarming. It is important to follow all health and safety regulations, keep parents aware of them, and document any injury no matter how small. For more information go back to the slide show on Page 4 Preventing Injuries in Childcare.

"My preschoolers don't like to wash their hands. Is there a fun way to get them to want to wash their hands?"
-Ro'Nia Hand washing is very important but can be boring when it is seen as a chore. On Page 10 Video Teaching Hand Washing there is a very fun example of a hand washing activity that will help children learn about why they should be washing their hands. This is a good idea to get you started and for more information you may wish to do a Google search for more ideas.
