Keeping Organized

One of the easiest ways to lose an activity or idea you find on Pinterest is to place it in a vague board.

Be sure to label your boards as specifically as you can.

This will make it much easier to find when you go back to look for it. For example, do not make one board for all of your math ideas. Instead, separate them into topics such as counting, money, graphing, etc.
Use the description portion of the pin.

You can erase the text that is already there and type in your own information before completing your pin. Make notes to yourself about the activity or put the standard you wish to use for future reference.  

Alphabetize your pins. You can do so by going into your profile (the red thumb tack with your username) and clicking and dragging the board to the desired area. Note: You will not be able to do this on a mobile device. This process will only work on a computer.

Clean out your pins from time to time.
Don’t be afraid to get rid of an idea or activity that doesn’t appeal to you anymore. You can delete a pin from a board by clicking on the small pencil-like button on the upper right side of a pin and then clicking “delete pin”.
