Procedure:
Read the book Corduroy to the class. Assist students in identifying the sequence of events in the story as well as the plot and characters.
Support students in writing their own adventurous tale similar to Corduroy’s.
Assessment:
Assess and record student’s ability to sequence events, provide some details, and create a story that makes sense to an audience.
