What Comes First, the Learning Objective or the Learning Outcome?
The Task describes something that can be seen and measured in some way. This requires an action of some kind. An example of a developmental task (milestone) for a 2 year old might be: Eat independently with a spoon.
Eating with a Spoon: “The child will make use of the spoon and demonstrate using the spoon to pick up the food off their plate and put the food into their mouth effectively.”
