Here is an easily adapted activity called "oobleck" or "magic mud." This is often used with older children as it is a lesson in non-Newtonian fluids as we discussed on the previous page. In the video you will see a school-age child making the oobleck on his own and then playing with it. Pay close attention to the oobleck and how the properties change when handled differently.
