Course Description: (10 hours) Online Self-Paced – Open Enrollment * American Sign Language is a common language used in the United States and Canada by members of the Deaf community. This course provides an introduction and overview of Deaf culture, characteristics of American Sign Language, and approximately 150 basic signs that are commonly used between children and caregivers. This course includes many videos and reflections, as well as helpful resources and reading material that will assist caregivers in including sign language elements in their programs.
Times shown are Pacific Standard Time. If you are in Central or Eastern Time, you will need to adjust the time accordingly.
