"There's a girl in my class with very low self-esteem. No matter what I do I can't seem to help her get out of her shell. How can I help her?"
-Prajeet A child who is shy may not necessarily have low self-esteem. She may be very confident but not social. There are many ways you can continue to support her self-esteem and developing self-concept. Simple things such as creating a relationship with her and supporting her growing sense of self will help to support her and maybe help her to come out of her shell.

"I want to hang child art work but my director doesn't allow it. Doesn't this help to support child self-esteem?"
-Bailey It does help to support a sense of pride which can lead to increased self-esteem for some children. Try re-reading Page 10 Improving Self-Esteem and explaining some of these concepts to your director. If she understands your objective she will have an easier time standing behind what you do.
