"How young is too young to introduce literacy concepts?"
-Lisa It is never too young! Even newborn children can benefit from literacy concepts such as reading. Consider literacy on a spectrum of familiarity that builds a foundation for more complicated activities and expectations.

"A girl in my class really struggles to recognize letters and she is 4. What's wrong?"
-Kelsey First, recognize that each child is different and that there is nothing "wrong." Next, document what you are observing and use that information to design instruction to support this student in letter recognition or other literacy concepts.
