Technology
In today’s world, students are expected to eventually become fluent with technology. Including a technology center can help students become just that. This center typically includes desktop computer(s) with age-appropriate software and content, but can also include I-pads, tablets, interactive whiteboards, and cameras.

Dramatic Play
At this center, students will be able to role play and act out a variety careers, stories, and real-life situations that they see happening every day. They can use props such as play food, money, and dress up clothes while pretending to be someone different. This center develops social, fine-motor and language skills.
Writing
This center can include a wide-variety of materials that support pre-writing and writing skills, such as letter stamps, dry erase boards and markers, alphabet paper punches, scissor practice, as well as pencils and paper. The goal of the writing center should be to encourage children to begin expressing their ideas through drawing and print.
