Assorted supplies such as straws, pipe cleaners, recycled bottle caps, etc.
Glue and tape
Begin the lesson by reading Zathura to your group. Invite children to construct a robot like the one in the book. Provide an assortment of different materials for children to create with.
Assess children based upon their individual expression and willingness to be creative with the given materials.
